How do I make an easy strawberry glaze with the fewest ingredients ?
I tried a friend’s glazed strawberry and I asked her how she made it. She only told me she used sugar and water, but didn’t tell me the details since she was busy. She went on vacation, so she’s unreachable at the moment. How can I make an easy-to-make glazed strawberry (not the hard candy type)? No corn starch or corn syrup please. If there are any other suggestions, please feel free to tell me. If I can make it with just sugar and water, what are the amounts of each to put in how many strawberries? Pardon my English.
I repeat, no use of Corn Starch or Corn Syrup please.
I usually heat a cup of water in sauce pan with 1/2 cup of sugar. Dissolve sugar, then add strawberries. I let the liquid reduce by half. It will thicken when taken off heat and let set. I usually pour over pancakes, waffles, cakes…..what ever you like!
